Dewey Group are currently seeking experienced General Piling Operatives for a large civil engineering project based in Teesside. This role is offered on an initial 3‑month contract, with long‑term ongoing work available following completion of this project, subject to performance and business requirements.
Role Details
- Location: Teesside
- Contract: Initial 3 months, with long‑term ongoing work available
- Hours: 50 hours + per week available
- Additional opportunities for night shifts and weekend work
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting piling operations on site
- Working alongside piling rigs including Rotary and CFA piling equipment
- Supporting rig operators, banksmen, and site supervisors
- Ensuring works are carried out safely and in line with site procedures
- General site duties associated with piling operations
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a General Piling Operative
- Proven experience with Rotary and/or CFA piling methods
- Strong understanding of health and safety on civil engineering sites
- Ability to work long hours and be flexible with shifts
- Valid right to work in the UK
