Role Overview

The Internal Sales Engineer role is a varied position combining customer communication, lead qualification, sales coordination, business development support, and marketing assistance. You will be responsible for handling inbound enquiries from the website, online chat, email, and marketing activities, helping to qualify opportunities and direct them to the appropriate sales engineer. You will work closely with the wider sales team, particularly on larger projects where you may also act as an additional customer contact point.
