Purpose of Role

As the Procurement Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of the procurement function for the factory. You will support the procurement team through evaluation models, tender documentation, data management, system updates, transactional processing and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Create request for quotes, pricing requests and tenders and review with stakeholders.
  • Analyse tender responses and provide recommendations.
  • Manage supplier master data, PO delegate lists and vendor profiles.
  • Negotiate and develop supply agreements with smaller suppliers.
  • Support Integrated Business Planning administration and analysis.
  • Track and report monthly KPIs and quality performance goals.
  • Analyse KPI escapes and implement corrective action plans.
  • Create supplier market insights and identify opportunities.
  • Deliver and record site cost savings.
  • Onboard new vendors and manage inactive supplier requests.
  • Maintain contract register and SSJ compliance.
  • Process invoices, manage orders and complete PO batching.
  • Expedite purchase orders and delivery acknowledgements.

About You

  • Minimum 2 years procurement experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Experience with ERP and workflow tools (Workfront, JD Edwards).
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and documentation.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, reporting tools, SQL or Power BI.
  • Associate degree or comparable experience. APICS or ASME preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
