This new position of R&D Process Engineer is a key part of our Science & Technology team, discovering & developing innovative manufacturing or materials processes, and delivering engineering solutions in R&D projects to enable product innovations.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate ideas on and explore new or modified equipment for casing/gel production that enable innovative product solutions.
  • Prototype and test novel solutions to improve product functionality and performance.
  • Design and test innovative manufacturing or materials processes that enable the creation of competitive gaps through unique product offerings or improvements in manufacturing costs.
  • Work within established project management plans to achieve specific goals.
  • Help specialists set up and test new product or processes in innovation and define objectives.
  • Analyse experimental data to optimize process parameters and outcomes.
About You:

Skills: Level of education required - Master or PhD Fields - Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering.

Knowledge: Technical skills used in the development of innovative technologies in R&D.

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in process engineering – works with full competence to apply appropriate method, tools, processes to execute engineering design activities. Examples of developed and implemented engineering solutions. Experience in collagen film manufacture is an advantage. Needs to be able to manage complexity.
