DevOpsUK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team of consultants. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, using your expertise to help them design, implement, and maintain their infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with clients to understand their business needs and technical requirements
- Design and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure and deployment pipelines
- Maintain and optimize infrastructure as code
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth and efficient deployments
- Monitor and optimize system performance and availability
- Debug and troubleshoot production issues
- Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems
- Continuously improve and automate processes and systems
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Linux and shell scripting
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (such as Python, Ruby, or Go)
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
