Job Purpose:

We\’re seeking an experienced Microsoft Azure Support Engineer to join our Managed Services team. In this role, you\’ll be responsible for providing advanced support and solutions for our customer’s cloud infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure, DevOps, Terraform, and Infrastructure-As-Code. You will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation and security of our customers cloud-based systems, while also contributing to the continuous improvement and automation of our processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Technical Support: Offer 3rd-level support for Microsoft Azure, including DevOps, Terraform, Infrastructure-As-Code environments. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and Monitor Cloud Infrastructure: Oversee the health, performance, and reliability of cloud systems. Implement monitoring solutions to detect and address potential issues proactively.
  • Develop and Implement Automation: Utilise Infrastructure-As-Code tools like Terraform to automate the deployment and management of cloud resources. Ensure consistency, scalability, and reproducibility of infrastructure configurations.
  • Collaborate with DevOps Teams: Work closely with DevOps engineers to streamline CI/CD pipelines, optimise cloud resource usage, and enhance the overall development lifecycle.

Skills & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor\’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, DevOps Engineer).
  • Experience: Proven experience in supporting and managing Microsoft Azure, DevOps, Terraform, Infrastructure-As-Code environments.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, security, and automation. Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
