Our client, a leading customer communications company, is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
Main Duties:
- Loading and unloading goods from vehicles.
- Moving stocks and mail items on pallets or in crates within the storage facility.
- Stacking goods in designated storage bays following stock control instructions and ensuring loads are secure.
- Stacking empty pallets.
- Performing daily equipment checks, such as recharging truck batteries, assisting with loading/unloading by hand, and other warehouse tasks like stock picking and handling stock returns.
- Collecting full bins (up to 660L) and transporting them to the goods yard for disposal.
- Disposing of waste, including bailing shredded paper or compacting waste materials.
Skills/Experience:
- Previous warehouse experience required.
- IT literate and competent in MS Excel.
- Ability to lift and maneuver items weighing up to 22kg.
Working Hours:
Week 1: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, 11-hour shifts.
Week 2: Monday and Tuesday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, 11-hour shifts.
