Devonshire Appointments is now looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to work alongside the existing team to build a client base within the Marketing sector. We are interested in hiring an experienced recruitment consultant that has worked in freelance and permanent recruitment within the marketing or creative sector who has established a solid client base.
Ideal Background:
- Consultant who has dealt with the corporate market, ideally finance or professional services
- Dealt with Master vendors
- Can demonstrate they have built good working relations with clients and candidates
- Has worked with temporary recruitment and therefore has a thorough understanding of the temporary labour laws.
- High standard of written and spoken English
- Can demonstrate that they have built and maintained a profitable desk.
- Be highly numerate – able to work through temporary charges quickly and accurately.
- Be commercially aware, can read and understand P&L and client terms and conditions confidently
Role:
- Develop and maintain a recruitment desk that will service both freelance and permanent hires within the Marketing sector
- Business develop prospective clients and reestablish connections with your previous client base.
- Interview candidates, regularly meet with clients and attend industry events and networking
- Maintain and expand the client relationships to cross sell with colleagues
- Write appealing job adverts to attract the right candidates for your roles.
- Keep up to date with changes in Employment law and the effect of hiring
This is a predominantly 'work from home' role but you are expected to travel to meet your clients and candidates regularly and attend meetings with your colleagues in the City of London. We provide a generous base salary and industry leading commission structure as well as a solid benefits package which is unusual in the recruitment sector.
