Are you a strategic marketer who knows how to turn commercial objectives into compelling communications that drive real business results?

We're partnering with a leading organisation to recruit a Marketing Communications Strategist to join a dynamic in-house creative agency.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape integrated marketing communications, influence creative direction, and help deliver campaigns that make a measurable impact across multiple business areas.

The role will start as a 6 month fixed term contract with the likelihood or being extended or becoming a permanent role.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing insight-led marketing communication strategies that align with business and customer objectives
  • Creating inspiring strategic and creative briefs that enable outstanding creative work
  • Building integrated campaign and content strategies across the customer journey
  • Working closely with Brand, Creative, Media, Content, Insight and Marketing teams to deliver joined-up communications
  • Defining audience strategies, messaging frameworks and measurement plans
  • Reviewing creative work to ensure it delivers against strategic objectives
  • Analysing campaign performance, identifying opportunities for optimisation and championing a test-and-learn approach
  • Presenting strategic recommendations and influencing stakeholders across the business

We're looking for someone who has

  • Experience in marketing communications strategy, integrated planning or brand strategy
  • A proven ability to translate business objectives into clear communication strategies and creative briefs
  • Strong understanding of customer journeys, audience segmentation and messaging frameworks
  • Experience working across integrated campaigns and always-on content
  • Knowledge of media planning and communications across the marketing funnel
  • Confidence in evaluating creative work and providing strategic feedback
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • A commercial mindset with a passion for delivering communications that achieve measurable outcomes
