Our client, a leading customer communications company is looking for a Picker Packer to work on their Sheffield site base.
As the pick/packer, you will provide an efficient materials management system through the receipting, storing, and despatching of materials, goods, and products to feed business operations and meet customer demands.
Main Duties
- Loading and unloading of vehicles.
- Take delivery of goods into the warehouse per the company delivery specification and check for missing or damaged items.
- Accurately book goods into stock using the computerised stock system.
- Sort and store materials/items onto racking and shelving and accurately record the stock location on the computerised stock system.
- Pick items from throughout the warehouse and prepare and orderβs for despatch.
- Deliver goods to production promptly.
- Update computerised stock systems to ensure stock records are accurate.
- Replenish the warehouse pick face and update the stock system accordingly.
Skills required:
- Previous Warehouse experience.
- Experience with Microsoft, Excel, Explorer, and Office.
- Must have a good understanding of warehouse metrics including O.T.I.F requirements.
We have two shift patterns for this role, please advise of your preference with your application:
- 7am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday OR
- 11am-7.30pm Monday-Friday
