A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Concierge Receptionist to join Paragon's client partner's site in London, a global asset management firm, on a permanent basis. As part of our Reception Concierge team at Schroders, you will work collaboratively with our client’s employees to deliver the future of an agile, connected, and high performing workplace. You will be responsible for ensuring a first-class employee experience and supporting our client’s employees to improve their day to day working experience.
Hours: Monday to Friday shifts between 8:00am - 6:00pm (37.5 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and greet all visitors, providing outstanding customer service to all employees and visitors of the office.
- Assist employees in a friendly, professional, proactive, and efficient manner with appropriate follow-up as necessary.
- Act as the site liaison for the services we deliver and all other Workplace Services.
- Keep up to date and trained in all concierge reception processes.
- Ensure accuracy when recording any data or financial information whether electronically or by hard copy.
- Take switchboard and FM helpdesk calls.
- Provide occasional event support.
- Demonstrate and adhere to a high level of customer service in all dealings with clients.
- Be flexible to work in any service area as required, rota and on an ad-hoc basis.
- Support colleagues and work as a team to achieve the best results for clients.
- Track own activity and report on daily activity.
- Wear the Concierge reception uniform provided along with any PPE required.
- Comply with health and safety and site operational procedures.
- Perform ad-hoc Concierge reception tasks as requested by the Leadership and Management team.
- Occasional travel (monthly / ad-hoc) to Schroders Horsham site to cover concierge as required.
Skills and Attributes we are looking for:
- Previous experience in concierge/ reception/ front of house/ hospitality roles is desired.
- Ability to always maintain a positive attitude and professional tone.
- True desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to interact with employees and visitors effectively with tact and diplomacy.
- Decision-making skills and ability to use own initiative to answer questions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle situations with sensitivity.
- Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive approach to work with an eye for detail.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Organisational skills and a methodical approach to dealing with the varied needs of the employees.
- Strong IT skills, competent in Microsoft Office 365 applications to intermediate level.
- Flexible to change shifts at short notice.
- Ability to learn quickly and follow core processes.
