An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Inventory with this Workplace Solutions business based in Manchester. As the Head of Inventory, you will be managing a team of 8 direct reports, and provide leadership, experience and expertise on all aspects of forecast and demand planning for the business.
Main responsibilities:
- Management and development of a team of 8 direct reports.
- Development of the Inventory Strategy that reflects the needs of the business.
- Ownership of the Stock Valuation and providing insights and feedback to the Procurement Director.
- Leading the stock reduction programme.
- Management of the stock system.
- Responsibility for setting the forecast and demand planning parameters.
Required experience:
- Proven track record in leading an Inventory/Stock Management team in a distribution/wholesale environment.
- Significant experience in Forecast & Demand Planning processes.
- Demonstrable experience and success in similar roles (inventory management, strategies, planning and execution).
- Prior successful experience in achieving KPIs and leading a team.
- Experience of Inventory Demand and Planning Systems (Slim Stock desirable).
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office.
