Paragon are seeking a Finance Administrator/Officer to join the purchase to pay department on a 4 month FTC basis. Representing the client, the position is responsible for delivering first class service to our internal & external customers through efficient and effective processing of high-volume financial transactions.

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm Onsite 4 month FTC (potential for extension)

Your main duties would include:

  • Process high volume transactions with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail via our Proactis system
  • Process invoices matched to purchase orders or coded directly, accurately and in line with SLAs.
  • Liaise with Parks and Central department to ensure invoices are processed and queries resolved in a timely manner to ensure Suppliers are paid on time.
  • Work as a team to deliver departmental Key Performance Indicators and targets.
  • Build highly effective working relationships with other departments to maintain the highest level of service to our customers.
  • Delivery of core tasks as per the service level agreement and standard task time.
  • Adapt and respond to the continuous change needed to support the growing demands of the business and marketplace.

Skills and Attributes we are looking for:

  • Experience of invoice processing and data entry is essential
  • Highly numerate and analytical with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of high-volume transactional process management
  • Experience of working to strict financial controls and deadlines
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
  • Enthusiastic about and committed to high quality and first-class customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a trustworthy and confidential capacity
  • Self-motivated with a positive, proactive, can-do attitude
  • Resilient and able to manage change effectively
