Paragon Customer Communications is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Project Manager Finance to shape the future of our Finance function. This hybrid role is based two days a week at UK locations and three days working from home.

This role is central to modernising finance processes, systems, and reporting frameworks. You’ll help deliver greater efficiency, accuracy, and insight across the business.

Overview

Direct responsibilities include leading and supporting finance transformation projects from process redesign and automation to system implementation; mapping current and future processes; preparing project materials; partnering with Finance, IT, and stakeholders; analysing data; coordinating timelines; and providing administrative and analytical support to senior Finance leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and supporting finance transformation projects – from process redesign and automation to system implementation.
  • Mapping current (β€œas-is”) and future (β€œto-be”) processes to drive clarity and improvement.
  • Preparing engaging project materials including presentations, reports, and change documentation.
  • Partnering with Finance, IT, and wider business stakeholders to capture requirements and ensure delivery.
  • Collecting and analysing data to support decision-making and performance tracking.
  • Coordinating timelines and holding stakeholders accountable for milestones.
  • Providing both administrative and analytical support to senior Finance leaders.
  • Monitoring KPIs and reporting on success metrics that matter.

Qualifications

  • Qualifications – A project management qualification ideally; as well as a professional finance certification (AAT, CIMA, ACCA).
  • Experience – Previous project management in finance or transformation initiatives. Familiarity with finance processes is key.
  • Technical skills – Confidence in project management tools and ideally experience with the Microsoft suite.
  • Soft skills – Strong analytical thinking, excellent communication, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

This is a hybrid role based two days a week at any of our UK locations, three days working from home.
