Our client, a leading customer communications company, is looking for an Account Manager to join their team of customer-focused solutions providers. As an Account Manager, you will be leading a small team of internal Account Executives as part of the wider Customer Service department, ensuring all customers receive the best possible customer experience whilst supporting and managing a busy team.

Main Duties:

  • Ensure exemplary customer service is delivered at all times across your team.
  • Ensure scheduled reports and tasks are completed in full and on time for your team.
  • Work with the Senior Account Managers to support colleagues and delegate tasks across the team where relevant.
  • Point of escalation for customer complaints.
  • Support team to deliver resolutions for ongoing service issues.
  • Formalise and document best practice for processes across your team.
  • Prioritise workload to ensure a balanced approach to reacting to incoming requests whilst monitoring ongoing projects and supporting your team’s workload.
  • Co-ordinate internal departments and external suppliers to deliver projects on time and to customers’ expectations.
  • Provide timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders on ongoing projects.
  • Contribute to resource planning for any absence across the team and to support project work.
  • Provide monthly reporting to Senior Account Manager / Account Director on individual and team KPIs.

Skills / Experience:

  • Previous experience working within a customer facing role.
  • Previous sales experience.
  • Use of information technology such as Microsoft, Excel, Explorer and office products.
  • 3 GCSE’s (including Maths and English) at A-C grade or equivalent.
