Devonshire Homes are seeking to recruit a full time Technical Co-ordinator. The position would be based at our head office in Tiverton and the successful applicant would report directly to the Operations Director.
The Technical Co-ordinator must have the necessary skills to evaluate and co-ordinate consultant designs to ensure Devonshire Homes meet all client & customer obligations, provide design information to operations teams to meet programme requirements and work within project commercial targets ensuring best value is achieved through pro-active value engineering.
The successful candidate will need to ensure Devonshire Homes requirements are fully represented in the Consultant’s design and that the works are constructed in accordance with the design, current good practice and within cost parameters, thereby representing best value for the Company.
It is essential that the procurement and operational teams have accurate, sufficient information to progress the works in accordance with the requirements, regulations, programme and other pre-determined parameters by managing the Design Team and supervising their functions.
Candidate Profile:
- Construction/design related further education
- New Build experience
- Ability of managing designers and other consultants.
- Good time management with ability to multitask.
- Professional aptitude and appearance at all times.
- Ability to work alone and make decisions but equally able to lead and work as a team member.
- Experienced in analysing problems and delivering solutions.
- Communicates clearly with confidence at all levels.
- Applicants should have good drive and determination for continued improvement and an enthusiasm and pride in their contribution to deliver the highest quality Devonshire Home possible.
