Are you a senior Service Designer with experience working within the Public Sector? If so, I have an exciting opportunity for you within the public sector. I am working with a firm who are looking to bring on a Senior Service Designer on a contract basis, the role would run until the end of October initially (around 7/8 months) and would be inside IR35 with a rate of between £600-£700 p/d. This role would be hybrid with 1 day a week on site and can work out of their London, Cardiff or Glasgow Offices.

Requirements:

  • Professional experience in service design (lead criteria)
  • Professional experience of working with Interaction Design, Content Design and User Research (lead criteria)
  • Demonstrable experience designing systems for use across multiple services, and identifying the simplest of a variety of approaches
  • Ability to make and justify decisions characterised by high levels of risk, impact and complexity
  • Ability to prioritise and mitigate design constraints
  • Experience working as a service designer in public sector
  • Experience working to the GDS service standard and undertaking service assessments
