Role

We have a great development opportunity at The Devonshire Fell for a Commis Chef with aspirations to progress with an employer who will support you every step of the way. Working in a busy 2 AA Rosette restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, you will learn all areas of the kitchen. Your duties will be varied and will include food preparation, stock control, cleaning and menu input. The role is very hands on and will give the successful candidate exceptional experience within the restaurant business. You will work a 4 day week. The Hotel is located less than half an hour away from Skipton and Ilkley.

Salary & Benefits

You will receive discretionary service charge and tips that can increase your salary by up to ÂŁ320 per month on average. A full time employee will receive around ÂŁ3,200 per year in service charge and tips alone.

Responsibilities

The right candidate will be professional, experienced and enthusiastic. You will show passion for the industry and continually strive to improve standards. Your duties will include food preparation, stock control, cleaning and menu input. The role is very hands on and will give the successful candidate exceptional experience within the restaurant business.

Qualifications

Any formal qualifications such as an apprenticeship or an NVQ in Professional Cookery would be advantageous.
