We are looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of Paragon's busy warehouse in Sheffield on the 11am–7:30pm shift. As the Warehouse Shift Manager, you will focus on leading teams, ensuring operational efficiency, and delivering against customer SLAs. You'll also take full responsibility for site operations during the late shift, working closely with fulfilment and print production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support warehouse teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Oversee stock control, inventory accuracy, and order fulfilment (OTIF).
- Monitor performance against SLAs and resolve any operational issues.
- Ensure safe loading/unloading and overall warehouse compliance.
- Manage shift handovers and take ownership of site operations in the evening.
- Drive continuous improvement across processes, efficiency, and productivity.
- Maintain high standards across health & safety, housekeeping, and quality.
- Communicate performance, issues, and updates clearly across teams.
- Manage, motivate, and develop a team (5–10 direct reports).
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
- Monitor performance, attendance, and development through regular reviews.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture.
