We are looking for a Facilities Operator to support the day-to-day running of a busy site in Sheffield, working on the early shift (7:00am – 3:30pm). As the Facilities Operator, you will focus on maintaining a clean, safe, and well-functioning environment across production, warehouse, and office spaces, ensuring all facilities meet operational and health & safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness across the site, including waste management, recycling, and yard areas.
- Support general maintenance tasks across production, warehouse, and office environments.
- Assist with site upkeep, including minor repairs and basic facilities work.
- Carry out routine checks on equipment and infrastructure.
- Support site audits, inspections, and health & safety compliance.
- Assist with fire system checks and other safety-related tasks.
Required Experience & Skills
- Experience in a facilities, warehouse, or similar environment (desirable).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Practical, hands-on approach.
- Flexible and able to manage a varied workload.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards.
Location: Sheffield (5 days on-site)
Salary: £25,000–£27,000
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm (40 hours per week)
