The Opportunity
As our Audio-Visual Service Desk Engineer, you'll be the first point of contact for all AV-related support—owning incidents, tackling challenges head-on, and ensuring our clients experience seamless, world-class AV performance every time. You’ll also play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our AV support ecosystem, helping scope and build a new AV support process and system alongside our Project Management teams. This is a role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, communicates with impact, and takes personal pride in delivering above expectations.
What You'll Do
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Deliver first- and second-line support across AV systems: VC, digital signage, meeting room tech, and live events
- Diagnose and resolve issues remotely, by phone, or onsite
- Escalate complex faults effectively, ensuring swift resolution
- Own and manage service desk tickets through tools like ServiceNow, Jira, or Monday
- System Maintenance & Monitoring
- Manage Paragon's AV remote management platform
- Maintain configuration documentation, asset records, and change logs
- Support deployment and configuration of new AV hardware and software
- Partner with Project and AI teams to support the rollout of our smart service desk AI bot
- Client & Stakeholder Support
- Deliver exceptional end-user support and training
- Collaborate with IT and Facilities to ensure seamless system integration
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders at every step
- Incident & Request Management
- Log and track all tickets with accuracy and professionalism
- Spot trends and contribute to system improvements
- Develop knowledge base articles and SOPs
