We are looking for an International Payroll Administrator to join Paragon and support their global payroll function. As the International Payroll Administrator, you will be working closely with the International Payroll Manager to play a key part in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll across multiple countries and currencies. You’ll be hands-on with international payroll administration, working with in-country providers, internal teams, and third-party suppliers to keep everything running smoothly.
Main Responsibilities:
- International Payroll & Compliance
- Support end-to-end payroll administration across multiple countries
- Ensure salaries, expenses, deductions, taxes, and statutory contributions are processed accurately and in line with local regulations
- Reconcile gross and net payrolls, raising and resolving queries with payroll providers
- Support benefits administration, including health insurance, pensions, and meal vouchers
- Coordinate with in-country payroll providers, ensuring data accuracy, timely reporting, and SLA adherence
- Act as a key point of contact between payroll providers and internal HR teams
- Liaise with third-party suppliers across multiple jurisdictions and languages, managing memberships, payments, invoicing, and reconciliations
- Validate and approve international and agency payrolls following robust checking processes
- Ensure payroll and agency reports are distributed accurately and on time
- Instruct payments in the correct format and within agreed internal timelines
- Maintain payroll calendars, trusted source lists, and supporting documentation
- Maintain tracking spreadsheets and payroll guidance documentation
- Attend payroll, vendor, and process update meetings
- Provide ad hoc support to the International Payroll Manager as required
Required Experience & Skills:
- Experience in payroll or accounting, ideally within an international or multi-country environment
- Understanding of international payroll processes and cross-border payments
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
- Experience working with multi-currency transactions, banking, and payments
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines
- Confident communicator, able to work patiently and effectively with global providers
- Comfortable using translation tools such as Google Translate or AI-based translators
- Proactive problem solver, able to chase and resolve complex payroll queries
- Payroll or accounting qualification or experience preferred, but not essential
