We are looking for an experienced Envelope Printer with hands-on HALM press experience to join Paragon's production team, based in Castleford, West Yorkshire. This is a permanent full-time site-based role, working 37.5 hours per week, shifts 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm (Monday to Friday).

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and maintain HALM envelope printing machines
  • Read and interpret job specifications, artwork, and production instructions
  • Ensure print quality meets required standards, including registration, colour consistency, and alignment
  • Carry out routine machine checks, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting
  • Monitor production runs to minimise waste and downtime
  • Load materials (envelopes, inks, plates, etc.) and manage stock usage
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning
  • Record production data accurately (output, waste, downtime, etc.)
  • Work closely with supervisors and colleagues to meet production deadlines
  • Follow all health & safety, quality, and site procedures at all times

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience operating HALM envelope printing machines
  • Background in envelope or commercial print production
  • Strong understanding of print quality standards and colour control
  • Ability to carry out machine setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting
  • Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working to production targets and deadlines
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Health & Safety - follow safety working practices at all times
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing/factory environment
  • Manual handling is involved
