We have an exciting opportunity to join our specialist team producing accessible communications for the blind and visually impaired. At Paragon Customer Communications, we believe in delivering excellence in every format. As part of our dedicated Accessible Formats production team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring essential information is accessible to all—through Large Print, Braille, and Audio.

The Role

Working from our Dagenham site in a fully office-based position, you will be responsible for the formatting, production, and quality assurance of documents across three accessible formats. This role combines hands-on production tasks with detailed document formatting, always with the end user in mind.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Large Print
  • Format accessible PDFs into Word documents
  • Apply Large Print templates for clear readability
  • Proof and finalise for mailing
  • Braille
    • Prepare Word documents for translation into Braille using Duxbury software
    • Emboss and check output prior to dispatch
  • Audio
    • Format documents and mark up using Linguatec software
    • Generate MP3 files and produce audio CDs for distribution

    In all formats, you’ll work to continually refine both process and product, contributing ideas that enhance user experience and improve accessibility outcomes.
