Security assurance across multiple major infrastructure projects.

Developing and maintaining assurance plans aligned with recognised frameworks.

Managing security risks, controls, and evidence to support compliance.

Engaging with stakeholders, including Ministry of Defence representatives, on assurance activities.

Supporting audits, bids, and ongoing security improvement initiatives.

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.

Essential experience of the Information Security Lead:

  • Proven experience in information security assurance within regulated or defence environments.
  • Strong understanding of UK security standards, including government and defence frameworks.
  • Experience producing security documentation and assurance artefacts.
  • Ability to manage and mitigate risks in complex environments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage a range of stakeholders.

Qualifications for the Information Security Lead:

  • Relevant professional experience in information security, risk management, or cyber security.
  • Certifications such as Certified Information Security Professional, Certified Information Security Manager, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer are desirable.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be a sole UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check security clearance for this role.
