Hours: 42.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

KierBAM is a Joint Venture partnership between Kier and BAM Nuttall. We're working on an exciting Major Project at Devonport dockyard, where we're refurbishing the Royal Navy dockyard. This is an opportunity to be part of a significant infrastructure project in a unique environment, contributing your technical expertise to support national defence operations.
What will you be responsible for?
- As a CAD Engineer, you'll be working within the BIM team, supporting them in delivering high-quality technical drawings and documentation.
- Acting as a subject matter expert for drawing production and providing technical support to team members.
- Ensuring all drawing work complies with ISO 19650, BAM and CAD standards.
- Supporting the Document Control team to review drawings before client submission.
- Producing rebar design and detailing work with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Training and mentoring site engineers and team members on drawing production standards.
What are we looking for?
- You're proficient in AutoCAD and have experience in rebar design and checking.
- You have a good understanding of civil/structural design principles and a strong background in producing drawings.
- You can collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team with strong communication skills.
- You have a basic awareness of ISO 19650 (Level 2 BIM) or BS1192 standards.
- You hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years.
