Watch Manager – Policy, Procedure and Guidance
The Service has a vacancy for a Watch Manager – Policy, Procedure and Guidance.
Expressions of interest are invited from suitably experienced and qualified Crew Managers and Watch Managers.
Eligibility
Be a competent, substantive Crew Manager and have been successful in the Watch Manager promotion board, or be a substantive whole‑time Watch Manager.
Be a Qualified L1 IC or Fire Control CM/WM equivalent.
Not subject to formal performance‑improvement actions, nor have any live disciplinary sanctions.
Applicants must disclose any criminal convictions (spent or unspent), driving offences, cautions and/or reprimands in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order.
The Service will assess any positive disclosures in a reasonable and proportionate manner.
