2x Crew Manager posts available. 1x permanent and 1x for up to 12 months.
Applications Are Invited From Existing Suitably Experienced And Qualified Firefighters And Crew Managers. Eligible Applicants Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria As a Minimum:
- Be a competent Firefighter
- Completed IC course or pre-incident command review
- Have good leadership skills
- Not subject to formal performance improvement actions, nor have any live disciplinary sanctions
- Discussed the opportunity with your Line Manager
- Live or work within a 5-minute response to the Station
Whilst it is desirable, it is not essential to have attended a Leading Others Assessment Centre.
From 1 April 2024, we are introducing development rates of pay for any new individuals moving into a development or an acting-up role. These pay rates are set out by the National Joint Council.
