The corporate Learning and Development team within People and Culture is seeking to recruit a training coordinator for an exciting and rewarding opportunity to support the work of the team.

About the role

As the team\’s remit grows, we are looking for a coordinator to:

  • Manage the roll-out of training programmes
  • Take a lead role in maintaining and updating our existing learning management system (DEL)
  • Work with our DEL administrators to follow best practice guidance
  • Support our learner queries through our team mailbox
  • Coordinate learning events
  • Develop our publicity material and articles
  • Get involved in a range of different corporate-wide and bespoke training activities

About you

We are looking for an innovative, highly motivated person with strong communication and organisational skills to be part of our L&D Team.

You will also need:

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Accuracy with attention to detail
  • Able to work well as part of a team, as well as on your own initiative
  • Ability to work autonomously in a hybrid-working environment
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Competent and experienced user of Microsoft 365: SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
  • Experience of administering a learning management system and working in a learning environment would be preferred

This vacancy is 0.8 FTE (29.6 hours) over 4/5 days per week and is a permanent role. It offers hybrid home/office working, with office-based time dependent on the team\’s demands. The role will report to the Learning and Development Manager.

The team is small but has a reach across the whole organisation, working in a very fast-paced environment. Our priorities and timescales shift quickly, so if you are someone who is adaptable to changing demands and requirements, we\’d love to hear from you.
