Tiverton High School serves the beautiful and historic market town of Tiverton in mid Devon and is within easy commuting distance to the regional centres of Exeter and Taunton. We can be found just off junction 27 of the M5. We are within easy reach of areas of outstanding national beauty such as the Blackdown Hills, Dartmoor, Exmoor and close to the lovely Devon coastline.

We now have a position open at Tiverton High School for a creative Science Teacher who will contribute to wider success by teaching outstanding Science classes and sustaining student performance in terms of teaching, learning and evaluation. A job share would be considered for the right candidate.
Job Overview
You’ll be delivering core aspects of the Science curriculum, and be knowledgeable in all three specialisms of Chemistry, Biology and Physics, using assessments and feedback to sustain and raise achievement.
Job Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status, or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant specialist qualifications and experience (e.g. BSc in a Science-related degree).
- Ability to deliver high-quality Science lessons covering a range of modules and concepts, both theoretical and practical.
- Understanding of curriculum and assessment requirements for Science.
- Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering high‑quality teaching and learning in preparation for examinations.
