Job Description
Stokeinteignhead Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic, talented, resilient and committed person to support an SEN child at the school.
As a Teaching Assistant you will need to be calm but firm and enjoy working with children, having a minimum qualification at GCSE Maths and English.
Experience of working in a classroom situation or a qualification as a Teaching Assistant, NVQ2 or NVQ3 would be ideal.
Responsibilities
Support an SEN child in the school setting, liaise and build relationships with parents and families, and ensure a positive learning environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum qualification at GCSE Maths and English.
- Experience of working in a classroom or a qualification as a Teaching Assistant, NVQ2 or NVQ3 is ideal.
- Good and courteous communication skills.
- Ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
- DBS check required.
