We are looking for a well‑organised and self‑motivated person to join the Business Support Team based in our newly developing Family Hubs.
Key skills & qualities
- Previous office/administration experience
- Have a good understanding of Microsoft 365
- Ability to use a laptop
- Positive & enthusiastic attitude towards learning and supporting your colleagues
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude to meet, greet and welcome families and practitioners into the Hub
- Excellent experience of live note taking (typed)
- Processing of sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent attention to detail and able to input/record data accurately
- Good communication skills & the ability to build good working relationships with team members and wider colleagues
- Ability to plan workload for the day and be adaptable when service needs might change
- Ability to think on your feet and work with colleagues to resolve problems
- Remain calm and resilient under pressure
- Ability to work in a pressurised environment

- Flexibility to pick up additional tasks/support colleagues
Key tasks / responsibilities
- Attendance at various meetings, as needed. Some remotely via Microsoft Teams, and some in‑person, to take accurate notes of the meetings
- You will be using a laptop and various internal systems and Microsoft packages to conduct your role
- You will be working in an ‘agile’ way – some home working but mainly Hub‑based work
- Working within a shared mailbox with the rest of your Early Help Business Support colleagues
- Drafting & responding to emails
- Finding and booking venues
- Liaising with Facilities Management and Team Leads for the Family Hubs
- Full administration of finance tasks
- Full administration of various meetings and follow up action
- Uploading/downloading evidence to/from internal systems (especially Right for Children database)
- Supporting other administrative staff with office operations
