Are you an experienced education leader committed to improving outcomes for children and young people?
We are seeking a dynamic Service Lead β Schools (Locality) to lead education quality, inclusion and school improvement services across a geographical area of Devon.
Working closely with the Head of Education Quality & Inclusion, you will provide strategic leadership to support schools, champion inclusion and ensure statutory education responsibilities are delivered effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead school improvement, attendance, inclusion and SEND-related services.
- Build strong partnerships with schools, trusts, families and stakeholders.
- Drive improvements in outcomes, attendance and inclusion for children and young people.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery, performance and safeguarding standards.
- Lead and develop teams while managing resources effectively.
About you
- Significant senior leadership experience in education or local authority services.
- A recognised teaching, SEND or leadership qualification.
- Strong knowledge of education, SEND and safeguarding legislation.
- A proven ability to lead change, build partnerships and improve outcomes.
