We are looking for an enthusiastic
Recruitment and Retention Coordinator to provide high quality service, advice, and solutions to support Children's and Adults Social Care within the Recruitment and Retention Team.
The team are based at County Hall in Exeter.
The role will be hybrid with office attendance required each week, or full onsite working arrangements are available.
Delivering great service to candidates and hiring managers alike is at the core of what we do, so you’ll need to have excellent communication skills and previous experience in a customer-facing environment.
You’ll also need to be highly organised, with an ability to prioritise your workload effectively to ensure that recruitment activities progress in a timely manner.
Previous experience within a recruitment or HR role is desired, but not essential.
You will be required to provide a high quality, competitive and commercially aware recruitment service to Devon County Council and a range of external customers.
What will you do?
- Providing high-quality recruitment advice to hiring managers, including supporting with HR system queries.
- Processing, publishing, and co-ordinating the advertising of roles within Social Care.
- Processing the on-boarding for successful candidates.
- Supporting hiring managers with recruitment campaigns.
In this role, you’ll be an integral part of the Recruitment & Retention team, helping Devon County Council recruit & retain a strong and stable workforce.
You will be contributing to creating a positive and welcoming experience for both candidates and hiring managers, while helping to build a strong, people-focused culture across the organisation.
Above all, you will be supported by a team and colleagues with a wealth of knowledge and experience to help, support and challenge you to be your best.
