This is an Assistant Director level opportunity for an accomplished senior leader to join Devon County Council as the Head of Integrated Adult Social Care Operations. This pivotal role carries substantial strategic influence and responsibility, offering the chance to shape the future of adult social care across Devon, reflective in the leadership grade L5 - £94,812 pa.

As part of our senior leadership team, you will support the newly appointed Deputy Director of Operations (2025) and play a key role in delivering future-fit adult social care services. Your work will help drive positive change for communities throughout Devon.

The role has a dedicated focus on our working age population as well as wider operational leadership responsibilities across the directorate. System leadership is also a key part of the role as we look to embed new ways of working as part of Integrated Neighbourhood Development and Local Government Reorganisation. We are embarking on a transformative five-year Living Well in Devon programme in partnership with Newton, providing unique opportunities for skills transfer and professional growth.
