Overview
Wicks Enterprise is seeking an additional Life Auxiliary to join our dedicated support team.
Shifts include day and night coverage, with night shifts consisting of a 9-hour period from midnight to 9am.
Location
Devon, UK (onsite care at the client’s home).
Responsibilities
- Provide personal, social, and enabling care to support the client’s independence at home and within the community.
- Assist with daily routines and activities, maintaining confidentiality and respecting the client’s preferences and goals.
- Collaborate with the client and the care team to plan and deliver tailored support, including travel with the client as required (including overnight stays).
- Maintain reliability and consistency in care delivery and communicate effectively with the client and team.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience with children is required, gained either personally or professionally.
- DBS check is required; the cost is covered by Wicks Enterprise.
- Two employer references are required.
- Willingness to travel with the client and to stay away overnight when needed.
