Learning Support Assistant - St Andrew'S C Of E Academy (Learning Partnership Trust)

The Learning Academy Partnership has an opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join us based in St Andrew’s C of E Academy.

Situated in the picturesque village of Buckland Monachorum, on the edge of Dartmoor, St Andrew’s takes full advantage of our fantastic outdoor space. Learning together what is good and right

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who is inspired by our mission where children are at the heart of everything we do. This role includes providing dedicated 1:1 support for a child with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) as they begin their educational journey in Reception. Working closely alongside class staff, families and external professionals, you will play a key role in helping the child feel safe, valued and confident, enabling them to access learning, develop independence and flourish within our school community.

We are seeking someone who is patient, nurturing and committed to building positive relationships whilst adapting support to meet individual needs. You will help create a learning environment where every success is celebrated and every child is empowered to achieve their potential.

We welcome applications from candidates with experience of supporting children with additional needs, although this is not essential. Our ideal candidate will hold a Level 2 / 3 qualification that is recognised as full and relevant by the DfE, however what’s more important is your positive outlook, willingness to learn and commitment to helping children thrive.
