Could you join our fantastic team of Learning Support Assistants? We are seeking compassionate and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join our team. These posts are linked to SEN funding and will involve providing one-to-one and/or small group support for pupils across the school with identified special educational needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to children's lives by supporting them to access learning, develop independence and achieve their full potential. Fixed term contracts linked to SEN Funding. Part-time and full-time roles available, term time only.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils with identified special educational needs on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
- Contribute to a high-quality learning environment that enables pupils to access learning and participate fully
- Be part of our lunchtime team and support children with eating and/or playing
- Assist with personal care where required and appropriate
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience is desirable, but most essential is the commitment to working tirelessly to support young people.
- The role may involve working with children who have special educational or medical needs and/or disabilities.
- We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults, and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
- This role requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
