Most students study Geography at Key Stage 3, and it is an option for our Key Stage 4 students, for whom we offer GCSE Geography. We place a strong emphasis upon relational practice and practical work to support learning.
The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher who is able to teach up to and including GCSE in Geography. Applications welcomed from ECTs and experienced teachers. We require a degree of flexibility to adapt to the needs of our students, the learning environment, and a commitment to meeting outcomes set on EHCPs and delivering targets set in IEPs. Experience of working in an SEMH setting/special school would be desirable but is not essential.
