An opportunity is available for an experienced, positive and proactive Administrator to join the small, friendly team at the Diocese of Exeter. The role includes administration duties for the Safeguarding team and serving as the contact between the Diocese and Thirty One Eight for Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) applications.

As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, strong communication and customer service skills are essential. The role requires a solid administration background, attention to detail, excellent organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities. Good IT skills are needed, along with the ability to support colleagues with Safeguarding administrative tasks. The work is varied, fast paced and offers opportunities to gain experience within a supportive team.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract.
