We are looking to appoint a full-time Project Accountant on a 12-month temporary contract to join our Integrated Adults Social Care Team. This role will play a key part in helping us meet the challenges of today while shaping the future of our services for tomorrow. It is an exciting time to be joining our finance team, as we have several key transformation projects getting under way which will define our service for years to come.
As a finance professional, you will have an important role in shaping and leading our service, ensuring systems are fit for purpose and remain relevant in an ever-changing environment, and deliver our fundamental purpose of securing excellent financial stewardship and probity.
We are seeking someone who is an excellent communicator, a collaborative and inspiring team player, and someone who brings first-class interpersonal skills. Strong IT and analytical skills, a good understanding of accounting principles, and the capacity to organise and prioritise competing workloads accurately and on time are essential.
