We are recruiting for Income & Assessment Assistants to work in Client Financial Services.

Client Financial Services sits within Finance & Public Value, supporting Adult Social Care.

The service provides Financial Assessment, Income Collectionand debt Management functions to Devon County Council, providing benefit awareness support to clients and generating income from chargeable social care totalling £80+ million.

The Income and Assessment Assistantroleprovides support toboth the Financial Assessment and Income & Debt Management Teamswithin Client Financial Services.

Team: responsible for carrying out Financial Assessment and Benefit Entitlement activity for clients of the Adult Social Care Directorate (including Mental Health Services)in accordance withboth national legislation and local government charging policies.

Team: responsible for ensuring that charges due in respect of social care and support contributions are paid, providing a variety of payment options, and ensuring high value debts are secured.
