As an Enabling Support Worker, you will provide compassionate, person-centred support to individuals in their homes in the Exeter area, helping them achieve their goals, develop independence and maintain meaningful social connections. Working in line with agreed care plans, you will support individuals to maximise their independent living skills, build confidence and participate more fully in their communities. You will motivate and encourage progress towards personal goals, monitor outcomes and carry out reviews and spot checks as required, always promoting dignity, choice and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report concerns, observations and progress to the Services Manager
  • Maintain accurate records in line with organisational procedures
  • Follow policies and procedures relating to customer service, health and safety, equality and diversity

Qualifications

  • Experience of working as part of a team
  • A sensitive approach to vulnerable people, maintaining their dignity and self-respect at all times
  • The ability to work alone in the community and as part of a team
  • The ability to communicate well with clients, carers and professionals

You’ll be joining a friendly and inclusive local charity where excellent training is provided and where your contribution will be valued as part of our wider, welcoming team, with part-time hours offering greater flexibility alongside a deeply rewarding role. An immediate start is available on a permanent, part‑time basis, with variable hours and the potential to build to 30 hours per week.
