Devon Wildlife Trust is a successful and dynamic charity with a commercial arm, Devon Wildlife Consultants (DWC). DWC is looking for a Consultancy Administrator to join our busy and friendly commercial consultancy team. We provide a range of commercial services including wildlife surveys and assessment, developer support, training, and advice to businesses and landowners.
Overview
We are a growing business, and this role is required to oversee the smooth running of the office and deliver effective and efficient administrative processes for the team. Essentially you will free up the ecologists' time to allow them to focus on delivering services, so it may not be the right opportunity for you if you are looking to start your career in ecological consultancy.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the smooth running of the office and deliver effective and efficient administrative processes.
- Free up ecologists' time by handling administrative duties.
- Speak to clients daily, including debt chasing when necessary.
- Apply organisational skills to ensure finance tasks are completed efficiently, accurately and on time.
- Collate regular marketing updates and e-newsletters.
- Assist with managing the team bat survey schedule and contractors.
- Work as a team player thriving on a busy and varied workload.

Employment Details
This is a part-time (22.5 hour per week) permanent post based at Aldens Court. We can offer some flexibility in the number of hours up to 30 hours per week. The successful candidate is expected to work from the office at least two days a week.
