We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Economic Development Coordinator to join the Connect to Work Devon service.
This exciting role will provide essential administrative and customer service support across the wider Connect to Work service in Devon, including our network of Employment and Youth Hubs.
Working as part of a supportive and passionate team, you will help ensure participants, employers, partners and stakeholders receive an excellent service while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the programme.

About Connect to Work Devon
Connect to Work Devon supports individuals who face barriers to employment by providing tailored support to help them move towards and into sustainable work.
The service works collaboratively with local partners, employers and Employment and Youth Hubs to ensure residents across Devon can access the right support at the right time.
The Role
As an Economic Development Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Connect to Work programme by:
- Providing administrative support across Connect to Work, Employment and Youth Hubs.
- Acting as a first point of contact for participants, employers and stakeholders.
- Managing enquiries by telephone, email and in person.
- Supporting referral and participant onboarding processes.
- Maintaining accurate records and databases in line with data protection requirements.
- Scheduling appointments, meetings and events.
- Supporting project reporting and performance monitoring.
- Processing documentation and maintaining case management systems.
- Assisting with the organisation of workshops, outreach events and engagement activities.
- Supporting communication activities, including distributing information and promotional materials.
- Working collaboratively with delivery staff and partners to ensure a high-quality customer experience.

- Is highly organised and able to manage competing priorities.
- Has strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
