Community Services Manager – Locality Based Services – Adult\’s
Are you a dynamic and experienced leader passionate about delivering high-quality adult social care services? Devon County Council is seeking to appoint three Community Services Managers to lead and manage our social care services across East Devon; and contribute to the strategic and transformational requirements moving forward. This is a key leadership role, driving high-quality, person-centered outcomes across Assessment, Review, Occupational Therapy and Safeguarding requirements at locality level.
Main duties of the job
Your ImpactLead and inspire community based multi-disciplinary teams Ensure delivery of safe, effective, and personalised care for older people, those with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, or mental health needs. Build and maintain strong partnerships with health, voluntary, and independent sector organisations. Champion integrated working and innovative service development. Manage performance, budgets, and workforce development to deliver best value and professional excellence.
About You
Qualified in Social Work, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy (with relevant registration). Proven leadership in complex health or social care settings. Strong knowledge of adult social care legislation, policy, and governance. Skilled communicator, negotiator, and problem-solver. Committed to continuous improvement and person-centred practice.
