St Peter’s is an oversubscribed school, known as a high performing school and nationally recognised for our approaches to character education. We are seeking to appoint a Careers Co‑ordinator to work alongside our Careers Lead. The role provides essential guidance and support to our students as they navigate their next steps. Outstanding pastoral care is at the heart of everything we do. We work closely with external agencies and deeply value the collaborative partnership between our students, parents, and staff to ensure every individual thrives.
Qualifications
- For a suitably qualified candidate with a Level 6 Diploma in Careers Guidance and Development – Grade D SCP 8–12, with corresponding salaries per hour.
- For a candidate willing to work towards the qualification of Level 6 Diploma in Careers Guidance and Development – Grade C SCP 6–7, with corresponding salaries per hour.
Responsibilities & Expectations
The role requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English. Online searches may be conducted as part of pre‑recruitment checks. A willingness and ability to contribute time and energy to our wellbeing programme and/or extra‑curricular provision (including Duke of Edinburgh and Ten Tors) will be taken into consideration.
