About Us

We work with disabled children, young people and their families to understand what matters to them and provide specialist support. Our work spans the full range of statutory social work responsibilities, from assessments, child in need and child protection to children in care and the transition to adulthood. Together, we help children and young people build on their strengths and reach their full potential.

If you're passionate about working alongside disabled children and their families, this is an opportunity to bring your skills to a supportive team that shares your commitment to making a meaningful difference.

About the Role

As an Advanced Social Worker, you will take a lead role in developing high-quality, evidence-based practice. You will provide professional supervision, coaching and mentoring, helping colleagues build confidence and develop their skills. You will undertake and co-work complex cases, supporting robust assessments, risk management and court work. Alongside the Team Manager, you'll help with day-to-day operational issues, contribute to audits and service improvements, and chair practice-based meetings or deputise when required.

This is an opportunity to stay close to direct practice while developing others, encouraging reflection and sharing learning across the service.
