The predicted salary is between 800 - 1000 Β£ per month.
Salary: Apprenticeship rate for relevant age 16-18 years β Β£7.55 per hour; Β£14,762.14 per annum. 19+ and in first year β Β£7.55 per hour; Β£14,762.14 per annum. 19+ and completed first year β Real Living Wage: Β£12.60 per hour, rising to Β£13.45 per hour on 1st May; Β£24,636.15 per annum, rising to Β£26,298.11 per annum on 1st May 2026.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
Location: Hybrid β remote/Exeter, with attendance across Devon when needed.
Duration: Fixed Term - dependent upon Apprenticeship duration.
The Role: As an apprentice working with other members of the Digital team, you will receive on the job training and develop your skills and learn new skills to aid in providing IT support to a medium-large sized organisation. You will have some great opportunities to study different avenues of IT, digital and computing technologies while working alongside like-minded team members, striving to give top quality customer service and attempt technical fault resolution to aid our peers at Devon Air Ambulance.
The Candidate: We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal communication and customer care skills including the ability to interpret ICT terminology for people who are not familiar with technological language. You must have the ability to clearly manage expectations and communicate priorities as agreed by the IT team, to adapt instructions tailored to the audience in order to elevate the level of skills of our colleagues and peers in the wider DAA community to best equip them for their roles and their use of all Digital systems. You must have a driving licence and/or access to transport as there will be a need to travel across Devon.
