We have an exciting opportunity to come and work with us as part of our Retail Team, based at our Paignton shop. We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join us 4 days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing cover for the Manager in their absence
  • Supporting and guiding volunteers in the day‑to‑day running of the shop
  • Stock control, sorting and rotation
  • Displaying goods effectively, including creative displays and maintaining the shop's appearance
  • Sorting and preparing unsaleable items for recycling or waste
  • Facilitating and processing Gift Aid

We're looking for someone who is self‑motivated and has excellent interpersonal communication and customer care skills. Previous experience in retail and/or a customer service environment is required with good problem‑solving ability and a readiness for the ever‑changing challenge that is charity retailing.
